Air Berlin flies from almost all major airports in the UK including London-Gatwick, London Heathrow, London City, London Stansted, Manchester, Edinburgh, Glasgow, and Newcastle.

Baggage

While flying with Air Berlin, your baggage allowance will depend on the type of ticket you have bought. On long haul routes, Economy flyers holding FlyDeal and FlyClassic tickets can carry one piece of cabin baggage (weighing not more than 8kg). If you have purchased FlyFlex ticket or are flying Business, you can carry two pieces of cabin baggage. The free checked baggage allowance for passengers with FlyDeal and FlyClassic tickets is one piece weighing not more than 23kg. Limit of checked baggage for Business class flyers and FlyFlex ticket holders is two pieces (each can weigh maximum of 32 kg).

Check-in: With Air Berlin's web check-in facility passengers can select their desired seat from anywhere. On flights to and from USA, web check-in is available between 24 hours and 3 hours before the departure. On other flights web check-in begins 30 hours before the departure time.
